The Khmelnytskyi Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy recently hosted an online guest lecture on the topic “National Parks of the USA.” Sergei Samborski, Doctor of Psychological Sciences at California State University (USA), delivered the lecture.
Educational cooperation between Ukraine and the United States of America is a crucial cornerstone of support for our country during these challenging times. American scholars and educators express their solidarity with Ukraine, emphasizing that their assistance goes beyond financial or diplomatic support. It is also moral and spiritual aid that contributes to the strengthening of Ukrainian society.
During the lecture, students had a unique opportunity to learn about the National Park System of the United States of America, which includes 63 protected natural areas in 30 states. Sergei Samborski provided insights into the biodiversity, natural landscapes, tourist routes, ecological significance of these parks, as well as their role in the country’s cultural and natural heritage.
This lecture became a part of the international exchange of experience aimed at strengthening educational ties between Ukraine and the United States of America, broadening horizons of students, and fostering their environmental worldview. Such initiatives enable young people to gain new knowledge, establish international connections, and integrate into the global educational community.
